Once you know about Penang Hill hiking trail, your weekends on the island will never be the same again. If you are on a budget or love to combine exercise with sightseeing then you could hike up to Penang Hill.
Penang Hill has an interesting history. The peak stands 833 meter high. It was originally a retreat during the British settlement. It’s the oldest British hill station in Southeast Asia, around late 1700’s. The path is narrow, and can be slippery at times, especially at the bottom where the climb is steeper. Though as you make your way into the jungle you soon realise just how beautiful this hike will be.
