Buat julung-julung kalinya Perbadanan Putrajaya menganjurkan festival pencahayaan edisi khas. LENTERA bakal mempersembahkan pertunjukan ‘Grand Light Symphony’, ‘Musical Fountain’, bot berhias bercahaya di samping lebih 40 pengisian menarik bertemakan ‘Tradisi dan Cahaya’.

Alhamdulillah, akhbirnya tercapailah jua hajat nak tidur di hotel tatkala berkunjung ke Melaka. Selama ini tinggal di rumah makcik. Tapi, dek kerana kebimbangan dengan kesihatan orang tua, kita tinggal hotel je. Cuba untuk kurangkan jumpa dengan orang tua (buat video call sahaja). Kita jenis jumpa ramai orang, risau kot pembawa virus COVID-19.
Harga Hotel Hatten, Melaka ini agak mahal sekitar RM400 – RM500 lebih pada waktu weekend. Nak murah, kene menginap pada hari bekerja. Tu yang aku menginap 2 hari 1 malam pada harga RM303 (termasuk sarapan) pada hari Khamis dan Jumaat yang lalu.
Agak teruja sebab lama giler tak menginap di hotel sejak pandemik berlaku hahaha. Seperti biasa, guna aplikasi Google Maps untuk ke lokasi hotel ini. Lokasi strategik sebab terletak bersebelahan dengan shopping mall – Dataran Pahlawan, tempat menarik seperti A Famosa, Bangunan Merah, Jonker Walk etc. Memang padanlah ramai manusia bercuti beramai-ramai disini.
Agak menyesal juga sebab orang terlalu ramai. Aku jadi tak selesa hahaha. But, it’s okay. Pengalaman pertama. Proses check-in pun agak lancar sebab sampai awal sekitar 2.30 petang. Ada Hotel lain yang berkongsi parking disini. Agaknya untuk versi bawah sedikit kot. Bayar pula guna kad / e-wallet / touch n go. Nasib baik boleh refund balik di kaunter hotel. Pertama kali guna sistem parking cashless untuk urusan hotel. Agak janggal hahaha. Risau kena bayar mahal.
Aku duduk aras 21. Kedudukan bilik yang antara paling hujung plak tu. Katanya aras Premier hahaha. Mungkin sebab beli direct dari laman web Hatten Hotel Melaka kot. Nampak lah sedikit ekslusif. Kedudukan bilik pun menghadap Selat Melaka. Memang cantik pemandangan. Teruja yang amat. Dapatlah tengok pemandangan bandar hilir berlatar belakangkan laut. Pemandangan waktu petang pun cantik yang amat.
Bagaimana dengan bilik? OK je kot. Saiz bilik dan kelengkapan standard seumpamanya untuk hotel 5 bintang katanya. Aku pilih King Size sebab duduk seorang je. Tilam dan bantal pun empuk. Bilik air pun selesa. Siap ada ruang tamu kecil. Lain daripada lain sebab siap ada sofa. Tapi, rasanya bilik ini sesuai untuk pasangan kelamin atau seorang je. Sebab bilik air kaca. Jadi, boleh nampak aktiviti dalam bilik air dari luar. Pengsan.
Talian internet sangat lembab. Nasib baik aku ada internet Maxis dan Celcom. Jadinya, dapatlah aku buat kerja dengan tenang. Agaknya perkhidmatan internet yang ditawarkan sekadar ada sahaja kot. Memang lembab dan tak sesuai dengan status hotel 5 bintang.
Aku sarapan seawal 7 pagi. Ingatkan antara tang paling awal. Rupanya, aku sipi-sipi je dapat meja depan pintu masuk. Lain-lain meja sudah occupied. Agak sempit dan terhad kedudukan meja / ruang makan. Sesak juga lah sebab nak kena jaga SOP bagai. Pilihan makanan pun agak terhad. Serba serbi kena beratur nak ambil makanan.
Asalnya hajat nak berenang di kolam dan bersenam di gymnasium yang disediakan. Tapi, oleh kerana penat dengan kerja-kerja adhock, rasa tak larat nak beriadah hahahaha. Pengsan.
Alhamdulillah, moga dapat singgah menginap lagi di sini lagi. Insyaalla

On Chinese New Year’s Eve on Feb, the 126-year-old monastery will be illuminated all the way up to the 33.6m-tall Kuan Yin statue and pavilion. From Jan 19 till Feb 21 2020. The temple will be open to the public from 7am until midnight. Usual Kek Lok Si Temple opening hours are from 8.30am to 5.30pm.
