Slowly, the landscape in Cyberjaya started changing — high-tech offices, universities, malls, housing estates, condominiums, and parks of sprawling green lawns with tranquil lakes replaced tired grounds and withering oil palm trees.

Everthing You Need to Know about Cyberjaya Mosque

The mosque was named after Raja Haji Fisabilillah ibni Daeng Chelak, a Bugis warrior from Penyengat Island, Indonesia. He was also the Yang Dipertuan Muda (Crown Prince) of the Johor-Riau Sultanate from 1777 to 1784.

Apa yang membezakan Masjid Cyberjaya 10 ini dengan masjid-masjid yang lain adalah bangunan ini dibina bukan sahaja untuk jemaah muslim bahkan untuk seluruh komuniti yang berlainan bangsa dan agama, sebagaimana permintaan Y. Bhg. Tan Sri Datuk. Mustapha Kamal Bin Hj. Abu Bakar sebagai penderma masjid ini. Selain itu, Masjid Cyberjaya 10 ini juga dilengkapi dengan Pusat Dialisis dengan 12 ruang dialisis, bilik perundingan, bilik rawatan dan bilik utiliti. Pusat Dialisis ini juga dikelilingi oleh lanskap hijau yang tenang dan terbuka kepada orang awam.

Masjid Cyberjaya 10 mengetengahkan pembinaan hijau dengan elemen tradisional seperti penggunaan kayu, batu-bata dan konkrit. Dewan Solat Utama dan Verandah boleh memuatkan seramai 2,050 orang dengan pengcahayaan serta sistem pengudaraan secara semula jadi yang membantu menjimatkan penggunaan tenaga. Masjid ini juga dibina dengan bumbung yang berlapis dan mempunyai anjung yang sesuai dengan cuaca di Malaysia. Masjid Cyberjaya 10 juga dilengkapi dengan kolam air yang berfungsi sebagai kawasan tadahan hujan dan pada masa yang sama membantu mengawal suhu di dalam masjid ini.

Selain itu, kawasan tambahan ‘Spill Over dan Open Court’ boleh memuatkan 1,080 orang, manakala Kawasan Sokongan dan Koridor sesuai digunakan untuk 450 orang. Dengan kombinasi Dewan Solat Utama dan Verandah, Masjid Cyberjayua 10 mampu menampung seramai 3,680 orang pada satu masa.

Tambahan pula, fasa 1 tanah perkuburan pertama di Cyberjaya yang terletak bertentangan dengan Masjid Cyberjaya 10 akan dibangunkan oleh Sterling Group yang merangkumi:

  • Fasa 1: 1,000 unit plot tanah perkuburan, lot untuk tempat meletakkan kenderaan bagi motorsikal dan kereta berserta dua kabin sementara.
  • Fasa 2 dan 3: 16,000 unit plot tanah perkuburan dan lot untuk tempat meletakkan kenderaan bagi motorsikal dan kereta

The Masjid Raja Fisabilillah in Cyberjaya is Malaysia’s first mosque to be awarded with a Platinum – Green Building Index, using LED lights, natural air ventilation, rooftop solar panels, and rainwater harvesting system. The mosque can cater up to 5,000 worshippers at any one time.

Also called the Green Mosque, this futuristic mosque hosts a wide range of activities such as marriage ceremonies and community activities. As it’s a holy place, do dress conservatively and be courteous to worshippers when visiting the mosque. The mosque provides robes for those who wish to visit and enter the mosque.

The mosque was constructed from 5 April 2013 and was completed on 24 February 2015. The mosque was officially opened on 22 June 2016 by the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah in conjunction with the Nuzul Quran celebration on 17 Ramadan 1437 Hijra.

The Cyberjaya Lakeside near Persiaran Tasik is a popular place for the locals to do leisure activities such as cycling and jogging. Every evening from 5pm onwards, the place is filled with people unwinding themselves after a long day at work.

It has a stunning view of Putrajaya lake. You can cycle or jog all the way to Precinct 8 in Putrajaya. The sunset view from the other side of the Cyberjaya lakeside (Putrajaya side) is breathtaking

A very scenic view in the evening. If you want to enjoy the amazing sunset view this is the place. Can bring young kids here. Evening time got a lot of people here.

It also have a opportunity to view such a great architecture such as the millennium monument and those unique mosque. It’s a place recommend for a outdoor activity.

Landscaping is top notch. The track to run, walk or cycle is well maintain. Can join the many sports enthusiast in the evenings during work week. Parking is all along the Pesiaran Tasik

Cyberjaya Lake Gardens

The Cyberjaya Lake Garden or Taman Tasik Cyberjaya in Malay covers an area of about 400 acres. It features the following areas:

  • The Visitor’s Information Center
  • A colorful Children’s Playground
  • A Ginger Garden
  • A Lookout Tower
  • A carpark (tempat letak kereta), and
  • A Fitness Station.

It also has the beautifully named “Wind Chime Island” (Pulau Wind Chime) which is really but a shed beside the lake – and there are several around the gardens.

There are many picnic spots there too. The crowd is low, so it was rather peaceful there. People could spent close to an hour there & the toilet also available near the parking lot.

If you are a runner or a jogger, one loop around the lake will net you around 1KM. Good place to run under hot sun too. Covered with trees Weekends would be good if you take kids with you!

Cyberjaya Lake Garden Cycling

Taman Tasik Cyberjaya is another favourite spot for cycling, especially among students studying in the nearby universities. You can also find a shady spot to relax and read a book.

Nice park with lake. Jogging/cycling lanes are wide. Large playground for kids. Exercise stations plenty. Clean with minimal mosquitoes.
