The Putrajaya International Islamic Arts and Cultural Festival ( PIIACUF 2019 ) is aimed at pioneering the values of Islam through the perspective of a moderate society where arts and culture takes centre stage in delivering the messages of Islam to the world.

Islam as a way of life had its fair share in shaping the world through the ages. From the best of philosophers, thinkers, artists and leaders, PIIACUF will exhibit some of the finest works of Islam through the organizing of exhibition, seminars, symposiums, music and arts.

Inaugurated in 2013, Putrajaya International Islamic Arts & Culture Festival (PIIACUF) presents series of cultural and artistic events that affirm the cultural identities of the Islamic nation. Since its inception, PIIACUF has welcomed over 1 million visitors through it doors and has progressed as an iconic event which is eagerly anticipated especially by Muslim communities across the globe.

Organized by Putrajaya Corporation in collaborations with CIOFF Malaysia

Themed PIIACUF 2019 takes its visitors through a journey of enlightenment Islamic arts and culture with focus on Wonders Of Islamic World. The appreciation towards past achievements and success of the Muslim world then will surely open a new pandora of thoughts for the future of Islam and Muslim in a modern world.

Among the varieties found only in Penang is one called Felicia Khor, which is named after a loyal eater. It is bitter unlike any other clone and it comes from only one kampung durian tree on the island.
