KL Go Green Car-Free Morning

Every first and third Sunday of the month, most roads are completely closed to motorized vehicles for two hours. Called the ‘Go Green Car-Free Morning’ visitors can enjoy a variety of activities between 07:00 and 09:00, such as cycling, jogging, rollerblading, and skateboarding.

On special occasions, free Zumba or aerobic sessions are held at the Dataran DBKL Square, about a 10-minute walk from Kuala Lumpur City Gallery.

Walk in KL Forest Eco Park

Formerly known as the Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve. KL Forest Eco Park is the only remaining tropical rainforest in the middle of Kuala Lumpur City Centre. It’s located beside the Menara KL Tower, where visitors can find a variety of trees, herbs, bamboo, and creepers, as well as well-maintained walking trails ranging between 300 and 500 metres in length.

Entrance to KL Forest Eco Park is free of charge, and you get to enjoy a guided tour of the forest reserve if you purchased tickets to the KL Tower observation deck.

This free guided tour, exclusively brought to you by the Kuala Lumpur City Hall, is designed to give an insight to tourists on how the colonial part of Kuala Lumpur came into being.

This old section of Kuala Lumpur is now an important historical enclave and a must visit for all historical and cultural enthusiasts when being in Kuala Lumpur. The heritage walk takes tourists to eleven (11) historical sites located within the vicinity of Dataran Merdeka.
