Perbadanan Putrajaya akan menganjurkan Royal FLORIA Putrajaya 2019. Orang awam dijemput hadir untuk bersama-sama memeriahkan acara ini bermula 31 Ogos 2019 (Sabtu) hingga 8 September 2019 (Ahad) dari jam 10.00 pagi hingga 10.00 malam di Taman Botani Putrajaya.
The 11th Royal FLORIA Putrajaya 2019 will be held at Botanic Gardens Putrajaya known as “Mother of all Gardens”
RFP 2019 theme flower displays will be Orchids & Bonsai and set beautiful memories once again over 10 days from 30th August till 8th September 2019.
Get Enchanted and Intoxicated with myriads of colours of flowers and sweet scents of 20 thematic beautiful gardens at Botanic Garden Precinct 1 Putrajaya.
Launched by the fifth prime minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on Aug 25, 2007, the inaugural edition of Floria Putrajaya was themed Rainbow Serenade and showcased the national flower, hibiscus, as the theme flower.
The event has grown over the years, drawing participants from overseas and hundreds of thousands of visitors.
It also serves as a platform for landscape architects to demonstrate their creativity, art and professionalism to the general public via competitions that are open to corporate bodies, government agencies and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
Another benefit the event has brought to local floral designers is the exposure to the art and techniques practised by foreign participants and the opportunity to learn the latest techniques practised in other countries.
A wide variety of orchids, roses, begonias, kekwa and the national flower, the hibiscuis, would be among the flowers on display. Some of the activities are:-
